We're not a mass-fashion brand, and we don't want to be. Florence is a small workshop in southern Brazil, where every piece is made by hand. That scale shapes how we work — and it's where our responsibility begins.
We produce on demand and in small quantities. Nothing sits unsold in a warehouse, and nothing is destroyed to clear stock — the overproduction that defines fast fashion simply isn't part of how we work.
Leftover fabric from cutting is kept and reused in smaller pieces rather than thrown away. Working by hand, in small runs, lets us make the most of every metre of lace and satin.
Our fabrics and trims come from Brazilian suppliers we know and work with directly. A shorter, more familiar supply chain means we understand where our materials come from.
We choose materials and finishing that endure. A Florence piece is made to stay with you for years — because the most sustainable garment is the one you keep, not the one you replace.
There is no assembly line at Florence. Each piece passes through the hands of skilled artisans who cut, sew, embroider and finish it — a craft passed down through generations in southern Brazil.
Producing slowly and in small numbers means we can pay attention to the people who make our lingerie, and to the quality of what leaves the workshop. Responsibility, for us, is as much about how we make as what we make.
We're a young brand, and we won't pretend to be something we're not. Everything on this page is simply how we already work today: small-batch, low-waste, made to last.
